Our Experience: Very versatile, light and comfortable. The hydration pocket fits a three liter bag! Excellent day pack for hiking, skiing, or mountain biking when you don’t need to carry bulky clothing. The outer pocket accepts Velcro strips and a medium organizer pocket. Occupies very little space when not in use so it can be kept in your gear duffel until needed. The pack is a bit long for shorter backs when also wearing with a fanny pack or on horseback. Unless you are taller than 5’8” or so, it will rest on the cantle of your saddle. The black is recommended. The yellow gets dirty fast.
